Nakagawa Town (Nakagawa-machi in japanese) lies on the northeastern edge of Tochigi Prefecture, 120 kilometers (about 80 miles) northeast of Tokyo. Although there are no train stations in Nakagawa, in a 20-40 minute taxi or bus ride from the nearest stations, the town gives visitors the time to take a break from the rush of daily life and settle into the calm and tranquility of the surroundings.
